Tom Byrne

Dr. Byrne grew up in St. Louis, moving to Omaha when he was 16. He graduated from Creighton Preparatory high school and afterwards majored in biology at Creighton University. He then completed his medical training at UNMC in 1991. He is a board certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).

He has been married to his wife, Anne, for more than 30 years. They have 4 children. Their oldest, Janie, is 32 years of age. John is 30, Caroline is 27, and their youngest, Elizabeth, is 24. Dr. Byrne is an avid Creighton basketball fan, and he loves to travel and spending time with his family. He also enjoys running marathons, completing a total of 10+! Additionally, he is fluent in Spanish and travels yearly to the Dominican Republic for medical mission trips.

Dr. Byrne would describe himself as thorough, thoughtful, warm and caring. He is passionate about preventing hearing loss in children and is a lifelong learner.
