Our experienced providers conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose symptoms and offer the appropriate treatment, ensuring your child feels better as soon as possible.
Each physician reserves appointment times for sick visits to ensure that you may make an appointment on the day an illness arises. In addition, we do our best to be available to see your child during evening and weekend hours at our Village Pointe location.Nebraska public schools require physicals for all students new to the city, entering kindergarten and 7th grade. Many sport teams and camps also require physicals prior to participation.
These visits may be scheduled several weeks or months in advance. Please remember, the farther along we are in the summer the more difficult it may be to accommodate an appointment that works with your schedule.Behavioral health providers serve as coaches to families and youth on how to be successful at home, school, and in the community. Brief, solution-focused treatment is provided, oftentimes within 3-4 sessions. Behavioral health providers commonly see youth and families who are experiencing difficulties with behavior, anxiety, depression, toileting, sleep, and/or developmental delays.

She provides guidance on breastfeeding, pumping, postpartum adjustment, returning to work, bottles, starting solids, soothing fussy babies, and more. You can also find out how much milk your baby is getting with a pre- and post-feed weight.
Upon birth at an affiliated hospital, simply inform your obstetrician and the hospital staff that you’ve chosen Village Pointe and Dundee Pediatrics as your child’s pediatrician. The hospital will notify our office of your baby’s birth, and your pediatrician will visit your baby in the hospital to conduct thorough health assessments, monitor vital signs, and ensure proper growth and development. This includes checking the baby’s overall health, conducting newborn screenings, reviewing feeding patterns, and addressing any concerns you may have as new parents
We also work closely with hospital staff to ensure a smooth transition from the hospital to home, providing guidance on newborn care, immunizations, and addressing any immediate health needs. Once you and your baby are discharged, please call our office to schedule your baby’s first checkup. Our goal is to provide you with peace of mind by ensuring your baby is healthy, well-cared-for, and ready to begin their journey at home.Our pre-operative physicals are designed to ensure that your child is in optimal health before undergoing surgery. During this appointment, a provider will conduct a thorough examination to assess your child’s overall health and readiness for the procedure. This includes checking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and performing any necessary tests, such as lab work or screenings, based on the type of surgery.
