Upon birth at an affiliated hospital, simply inform your obstetrician and the hospital staff that you’ve chosen Village Pointe and Dundee Pediatrics as your child’s pediatrician. The hospital will notify our office of your baby’s birth, and your pediatrician will visit your baby in the hospital to conduct thorough health assessments, monitor vital signs, and ensure proper growth and development. This includes checking the baby’s overall health, conducting newborn screenings, reviewing feeding patterns, and addressing any concerns you may have as new parents

We also work closely with hospital staff to ensure a smooth transition from the hospital to home, providing guidance on newborn care, immunizations, and addressing any immediate health needs. Once you and your baby are discharged, please call our office to schedule your baby’s first checkup. Our goal is to provide you with peace of mind by ensuring your baby is healthy, well-cared-for, and ready to begin their journey at home.
