Vanessa Potter

Vanessa was born in Riverside, CA and grew up all over the country due to her father being in the United State Air Force. Her favorite place she lived was Cocoa Beach, FL. She graduated high school in Bellevue and attended Hastings College earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Minor in Spanish. She also studied abroad at the University of Science and Technology in San Jose, Costa Rica. After college, she attended the UNMC PA Program, graduating in 2009.
She worked in OBGYN for 2 years following school, and then spent the next decade working in family medicine at UNMC. She loves taking care of all ages, but especially pediatrics.
Vanessa loves to work out, read, go back to FL whenever possible, and travel with her family. She has a German Shepherd she enjoys working and training. Vanessa has been married to her husband Ryan for 18 years and they have four children: Natalie (13), Luke (10), Drew (7) and Benjamin (5). Her life outside of work is mostly spent being her childrens' personal chauffeur to their sports and happenings.
