Dr. Davey grew up right here in Omaha, NE, graduating from Omaha Northwest High School and then the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He then graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1990, completing his medical residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. He is certified in pediatrics, pediatric emergency medicine, and sports medicine.
Dr. Davey and his wife, Mary Davey, have been married for over 25 years. They have three children, Paul, Sam, and Margie. Dr. Davey's interests include spending time with his family, especially while enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking. An avid runner, Dr. Davey has completed 25 marathons (and counting). He also loves art (Van Gogh in particular) and has served as the Boystown football team physician since 1998. Dr. Davey would describe himself to his patients as positive and empathetic. He feels blessed to be a pediatrician and views taking care of children as an honor and a privilege. |
