Dr. DiRenzo-Coffey was born in Flanders, New Jersey into a big Italian family, where she grew up loving running, gardening and cooking. She graduated from Mount Olive High School and did her undergraduate studies at University of Notre Dame, where she met her Nebraskan husband John Coffey. She then graduated from Duke University School of Medicine in 1996 and completed her pediatric residency at Northwestern University's Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago in 1999.
Her husband, John, owns a small business. They have 3 children, Matthew, Maggie and Annie who have been her best teachers and provided years of laughter and stories. Dr. DiRenzo-Coffey enjoys travel, hiking, gardening, woodwork, cooking, canning and cheering for her IRISH.
Dr. DiRenzo-Coffey loves seeing the children in her practice grow up and making going to the doctor fun and not scary. She is very interested in early brain development and has worked with the American Academy of Pediatrics to educate politicians and business leaders in Nebraska about the importance of supporting young families. She is excited to start her journey with Village Pointe Pediatrics.
