Moe Garvin was born here in Omaha, Nebraska where she attended Westside High School. She later spent four years in St Louis while she completed her undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University. During her time at the University, Moe also had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, Spain. After earning her degree, she attended the UNMC PA program where she graduated in 2011. Additionally, Moe worked in the Endocrinology department for three years at UNMC.
Moe moved to Lincoln and worked in pediatrics for five years, where she fell in love with helping families care for their children. She recently moved back to Omaha to be closer to family and friends. Moe has been married to her husband Shay for eight years, and she is deep in the trenches of parenting three little ones: Joe (5), Bridget (3), and Danny (2). She enjoys working out, listening to audiobooks, art, and traveling. However, she spends most of her time (in between diaper changes and time outs) coordinating nap schedules, saving recipes to Pinterest for a later date, microwaving cold cups of coffee and painstakingly watching her 5yr old “beat every bad guy” on old school Nintendo Super Mario Bros. |
